You’re invited to celebrate the official installation of the new vermiculture (worm composting) boxes at the Giddy Up & Grow Garden!

This special event will feature Girl Scout Gold Award candidate Claire Desselles, who will share how vermiculture supports healthy gardens, reduces food waste, and creates nutrient-rich compost for growing plants.

During the event, you’ll:

• Learn how to build your own vermiculture bin at home.
• Discover the important role vermiculture plays in creating healthy, thriving gardens.
• Tour the garden and see the newly installed vermiculture boxes in action.
• Enjoy the market and connect with fellow gardeners and community members.

This project is part of Claire Desselles’ Girl Scout Gold Award – promoting sustainable gardening and environmental education while helping our community grow together.
